  • I wanted to reach out to thank you for your two incredible books on unsafe touch and healing after unsafe touch. I recently bought both and they are such good tools! I'm a child welfare SW and I have lots of experience in the field but recently my daughter experienced unsafe touch and I was devastated. I felt like I had failed my daughter even with all the education we have done with our kids. I had some tools I could reach for but I needed more. After the incident I came across your IG and your books and I bought them immediately. What a Gd send. My husband and I have been using them with our daughter. The other night my husband read the book to her several times (her request) and it prompted her to ask a lot of questions and relay what had happened to her. Thank Gd she seems to be doing well and your books have been key in healing this difficult situation and empowering her! Thank you for all your dedication and care for children

  • I really like that it’s a parent read along and allows for the child to express their feelings as they go through each page, and it keeps the parent engaged and coaches them to offer support in those moments. I almost snapped my fingers (in a good way) when I read the “how to use this book” section because the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. And I love that it includes a safety plan guide and questions at the end to keep the conversation going. The book covers wide range of emotions and feelings, I’m really glad to see isolation in there since that’s a big symptom. I also really like that the book reinforces that the child is not alone in this. I think the act in having the book and reading it in the first place shows that the parent cares about what their child is going through ❤️ if I were the child and this book was read to me, I would feel very supported and loved, and closer to my parent by the end of it.
