What is the cost of online counseling with DayOne Therapy®?

I am so happy that you’ve made the choice to put your mental wellness first today. Online therapy is an investment in your growth and change.

I am an out-of-network (OON) therapist where you would pay for your service directly with a credit card or HSA card, and I will give you a Superbill to submit to insurance if eligible and requested. (Be sure to check with your insurance first). I strive to offer a premium counseling experience without involvement from insurance companies.

30 Minute SESSION — $180

This is considered a brief session and is used more often once progress is being made in therapy or due to time constraints.

60 Minute SESSION — $225

This is a typical therapy session length.

90 Minute SESSION — $300

This session length is considered an extended session and is typically used for families or you just need extra support.

Cancellation fee policy

Private Pay Fees: 24 hours notice is required for cancellation, otherwise you will be charged the full session fee.

We understand that life happens and there are times when you simply cannot make an appointment. However, a cancelled appointment hurts three people: you, your therapist, and another client who could have potentially used your time slot. When a session is cancelled without much notice, we are unable to fill this time slot by offering it to another client.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING MY ONLINE THERAPY SESSION?

A video chat session is where you and I will log in to a secure online video chat room that is specifically for telehealth services. You and I will be able to see one another, similar to FaceTime or Zoom. 

Payment is accepted in the form of a credit card and is automatically processed before each session through the Simple Practice software.
